It is the tug-of-war between Iraqi Wahdiya and Iranian Maliha, two mothers who wage an unrelenting fight over the remains believed to be thah of one of the women’s sons. In a different context, it is the dilemma of disenchanted Amin and Fadla, a young couple, who become aware of the dark side of their pious parents only when the latter are reported dead on a ship that sank in the Red Sea as it friend scores of Namula and Buda, two ants that echo the wittiness and violence marking human clashes?
